Asbestos is the greatest single cause of work-related deaths in the UK, with over 4,000 deaths a year and rising. See forthcoming courses for training.
NEW: On the 2nd November the HSE launched its Hidden Killer campaign. Every week 20 tradesmen die from asbestos-related disease. If you carry out work on a building that was built or refurbished before the year 2000 you and your workers could have been exposed to asbestos. Get clued up and protect yourself and your workforce. The updated HSE website has lots of downloadable free resources including this Asbestos Awareness leaflet, essentials task sheets and workplace posters.
Did you know that during 2004/05, 220 people were killed and over 150,000 were injured at work because of a failure to manage risk. See forthcoming courses for training.
